We visited the HONG KONG Book Fair, which lasts from JULY 20 2014 to JULY 26 2014. There were throngs of people there, demonstrating a tremendous demand for printed materials in Hong Kong. Thousands of titles were on display and Different Products was able to make connections with a few key contacts in the Asian publishing world. European and American publishers mostly elected to participate through their local agents, not a single non-Asian publisher was actually present at the fair, which admittedly was really oriented towards consumers, not trade partners.
